TIZEN based DIY IoT.
Video tutorial for DIY IoT development
In this project, in collaboration with the Seoul Business Agency, we introduced how to create DIY IoT devices using TIZEN, an OS developed by Samsung, and various physical computing techniques. We documented the steps for physical prototyping, software environment setup, and development in detail, and created video guides, which were then distributed.
In addition to the video guide, our team proposed four design ideas that are both simple to create and highly useful. These included an IoT outlet that allows remote control of power on/off, a light switch controller, a moving trash bin, and a magic wand-inspired controller that uses gestures to control other IoT devices.
As the lead manager of this project, I was involved in every aspect of the process. I learned the prototyping process, contributed to video editing, led the ideation process, and personally created two of the four ideas (the outlet and light switch).
