Shooting Stone is a tabletop game played via gestures on a projection screen. It is inspired by a traditional Korean game known as 'Alkkagi', which involves flicking one's Go stones to knock opponent's stones off the board. Although it utilizes a graphical interface without tangible game pieces, it provides a mixed-reality-like experience in that it uses finger gestures as an input method, akin to physical games. To recognize gesture inputs and adjust the graphical interface following a simple physics engine, we utilized the Processing and OpenCV libraries. Through informal feedback sessions, we gathered user experiences and demonstrated the potential to facilitate social interaction in spaces where activities are limited, like cafes.

As the main designer and researcher for this project, I participated in all stages, including software development, study design and implementation, analysis of study results, and paper writing.
